Environmental certifications
EN ISO 9001:2015
This is the international standard that defines the requirements of a management system for the quality of the company. Compliance guarantees the way the company works to achieve high performance and process quality by implementing actions that improve operational efficiency at all levels. The audits, the design control and the monitoring of the business cycles carried out by TÜV Rheinland confirm that the company’s organization and the Tatano quality management system meet the requirements of the Directive.
EN ISO 14001:2015
It’s the international environmental management standard. The company has a management system to keep the environmental impacts of its activities under control.
Tatano works in a sustainable way and with maximum respect for the environment, by protecting natural resources.
We guarantee that Tatano products are a visible sign of participation in eco-responsibility: they are designed to withstand years of use; we always choose high quality materials and costantly update operating systems; 50% of the energy used in production comes from renewable sources, we measure the impact of each machine on our total carbon footprint and verify the sustainability and safety of the materials they are made of. The advanced products are those that respect the environment!
ISO 18001
It’s the international Certification OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) that defines the requirements of Workers Safety & Health Management System (SSL).



Product certifications
CE
CE marking, that appears on all Tatano products, indicates the products complies with all the community provisions that provide for its use. From the design, to manifacturing, from the placing on the market to the putting on the service and the disposal. Terminology, requirements, tests and marking are in accordance with the new machinery directive 2006/42 / EC.
EN 303-5:1999 - CLASS 3
Solid fuel boilers, with manual or automatic loading and a nominal thermal power up to 300 kW. Terminology, requirements, tests and marking.
EN 303-5:2012 - CLASS 5 Environmental requirements
Solid fuel boilers, with manual or automatic loading and a nominal thermal power up to 500 kW. Terminology, requirements, tests and marking are in accordance with the new machinery directive 2006/42/CE.
The Tatano range is awarded by various government incentives (national and foreign) for minimal environmental impacts.
The emission values, thanks to a sustainable design, fall within the constraints imposed by many States, such as: France (flame verte), Switzerland (VKF – LRV11 ), Germany (,BImSchV) Romania, Austria ( FAV BGBI 331 + BGBLA 312 ), Denmark, Croatia, Luxembourg, etc
UNI EN 303-5:2012 - CLASS 5 security requirements

All the approval processes guarantee a safe product for our clients. Our boilers are also guaranteed for the restrictive safety regulations ranging from the variation of the electrical voltages to the safety devices for the overload of the brazier, from the instantaneous control of the operating pressures to the flue obstruction.
UNI EN 14785:2006
European standard related to design, manufacture, construction, safety and performance (efficiency and emissions), instructions and marking, as well as the relative test methods and fuels for domestic heating appliances up to 50 kWatt.
Ecodesign 2020
The goal of Ecodesign 2020 is to increase energy efficiency and to reduce the emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
This is the reason why the European Union decided to introduce and apply the eco-design criteria also for biomass heat generators.
The Ecodesign Regulations will come into force in the 28 EU countries and in all EEA countries (European Economic Area) from January 1, 2020 (EU Regulation 2015/1189); Tatano's commitment is concrete and direct towards an increasingly eco-sustainable future, developing new products that already comply with eco-compatible construction requirements and boast a high technological content. Thanks to a careful choice of components, Tatano guarantees energy efficient products, classified in the highest energy efficiency classes: A + e A ++.
